In Mastercam X you may save the post and associated machine files for archiving purposes as follows.

1. Open a new Mastercam window and create a rectangle.

2. From the menu, choose Machine Type -> Mill -> MPMASTER_FAGOR_BMED.MMD

3. Create a toolpath on the rectangle.

4. From the menu, choose Help -> Zip2Go Utility.

5. In the utility window that opens up, tick off "Toolpath files" in the "File Options" section.

6. Click on the "Create Zip2Go" button.

This creates a file with extension .z2g in your My Documents folder. The file is named the same as the Mastercam part file that you are working on.

Rename the extension to .zip to be able to open the file win WinZip.

There is no utility in Mastercam X to restore the files from the zip (or z2g) file but the archive does contain file path information that can be used to manually put the files where they belong.
